A thick bright CRT, with scanlines on the screen,
a world unknown, it’s to explore; escape to fantasy.
Dollsites and spinning images, a city in the sky,
it’s already far gone, at a loss for what you’ve seen…

My shirts are ruby red, it’s my hallmark on the earth.
so douse my hair in gasoline!
and that’s when my story began.

They were scared of me at school, I never understood
But I don’t wanna change: I don’t like being good!
Even so, it’s still impossible, and that’s what I deserve:
Stay paler than a ghost, I accept and I observe…

A whole new land of confidence has opened up my mind,

Wash the gasoline out of your hair and listen closely.

I thought I left the woods, at least for good this time,
but now our souls have grown, they’re coming after mine.
I know it sounds impossible, but we have got to change,
I can’t live like a ghost, I’ll run back and re-arrange!

but just when Ruby Gloom had realized
she was never meant to leave the city she loved so dearly,
an intrusive thought came to her,
as if maladaptively daydreaming.
She began walking back to her beloved woods,
looking for by-gone relics.
